OUR RENOVATE PROCESS
Project Brief & Consultation
The first step in our Renovate process is for one of our team to meet with you at your home. We will take time and listen carefully to understand exactly what you are wanting to achieve with your proposed project. We will also help you to develop your want's & needs list. This is key in establishing your priorities and what is most important to you and your family.
When you are happy with your concept drawings, and feasibility is in check, then we can proceed with your working drawings. These will be 'ready for consent' plans. Detailed costing can now be completed and compiled. You will be provided with our quotation, building agreement & master build guarantee application based on these drawings, specifications, engineering and the selections you have made.
Note: Modifications can still be made to reduce or refine costs if required.
Once consent has been granted, construction can now begin! You can keep track of your project with your very own online client portal where you can view your schedule, add or view photos & videos, make change orders, message us, plus lots more! Your assigned project manager will also arrange stage by stage site meetings with you to choose colours, finishes & configurations within our contract allowances.
Post Completion Check up
3 months after completion, one of our team will arrange a 'Post Completion Checkup' to make sure no defects have arisen.
On the rare occasion that any are found, they will be rectified within 10 working days, at no cost to you!
Concept Design & Feasibility
From your ideas and the measurements we take of your existing home, we develop your scope of works into an architectural concept for you. This usually includes a proposed floor plan, site plan and external perspectives. From here we will investigate and identify potential risks and/or constraints that may render your project . We will also undertake a project feasibility estimate based on average construction costs.
Consent & Schedule
Once everything is signed we can then submit your plans and specifications to council for consent processing(Allow 30 working days). During this time your assigned project manager will input your project into our online project management software and begin finalizing your building schedule.
When your project is nearing completion, we provide a full 'Builders Clean' of your home. We will then take you for a final walk-through, this is where you get to inspect your new home to make sure you are 100% happy with everything!
Now it's time to hand you the keys, and for you to enjoy your transformed home!
